Dikhlo Collective

This is an NGO rather than a business. Their focus is on education and advocacy for Rromani and Roma people, and this extends to providing dikhlos. These dikhlos are not for sale but rather provided on a first-come-first-serve basis after you submit a form through their website or social media. The wearing of dikhlos is very much a closed practice, so this is a source only for Rromani and Roma people.

A Catholic-owned Etsy shop based in Pennsylvania, they sell a variety of veils and scarves, including chapel veils and partial veils.

A Black-owned business based in Austin, TX, their name translates to “Strong Woman” in Haitian Kreyol. They provide wraps, bandannas, and headbands, and have several tutorials on their site for partial and full styles.

A German online store, they carry a wide variety of scarves. There are issues with cultural appropriation in their stock.

Garlands of Grace

A conservative Christian business. They have made public statements opposing abortion and the LGBT+ community. They were banned from Etsy in 2019 for refusing to take down quotes condemning gay people. They also posted in 2012 that Catholics are going to hell, so we cannot imagine they want pagans wearing their products. They are partnered with Glory Wraps.

Founded by a Black Haitian woman, this company is run by women and all their wraps come with how-to guides, making them very accessible for beginners. More tutorials are available on their website, where they sell wraps, bandannas, scrunchies, and headbands.

A small business started by Mya, a young Algonquin girl from Kitigan Zibi. They carry Kokum scarves — traditional floral kerchiefs inspired by Ukrainian styles — as well as scrunchies. They ship to Canada and the United States.
